Vegetarian/Vegan: Yuquiyú is meat free (from any kind of animal, including mammals, fish, fowl and others). We ask guests to observe that principle by not bringing any meat onto the property (restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are close by).
Smoke free. We are smoke free everywhere on the property except in the parking area.

Assumption of all risks

acknowledge that I have voluntarily requested accommodation at Yuquiyú (“the retreat”} on the dates designated on this Guest Registration (or the dates which I may subsequently transfer to). I am voluntarily visiting the retreat with knowledge that its rustic character involves risks and dangers including but not limited to: natural forces, the terrain, the trails, the river and force majeure. I hereby agree to be responsible for my own welfare and that of any person or persons accompanying me, and accept any and all risks of delay, unanticipated events, illness, injury, emotional trauma or death, and verify this statement by placing my initials here: ____________ .
Release of liability
This release of liability defines our responsibility to you and anyone accompanying you. Please read these paragraphs carefully. Payment for your accommodation represents your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
I acknowledge that the cost of accommodation at Yuquiyú is based upon guests executing this Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risks. Therefore, as lawful consideration for being permitted accommodation, I hereby release and discharge the retreat and its agents and employees from and against any and all liability arising from my accommodation (other than willful or fraudulent conduct on the part of the retreat). I agree that this release shall be legally binding upon myself, all minors under the age of 21 traveling with me, my heirs, successors, assigns, and legal representatives; it being my intention to fully assume the risk of my accommodation as provided in the section above entitled Assumption of All Risks and to release the retreat from any and all liabilities to the maximum extent permitted by law, except as expressly excluded above.
Yuquiyú reserves the right to restrain from further occupancy any person whose actions or deportment impede operation of the retreat or the rights, welfare, or enjoyment of other guests. A refund based on the cost of unused nights of accommodation is the limit of the retreat’s responsibility in such a case.
I understand that all guest registrations are subject to acceptance by Yuquiyú and upon acceptance will be deemed to have been entered into and to be performed in New York, New York. In the unlikely event a legal dispute should arise involving any subject matter whatsoever, I agree that the following conditions will apply: (a) the dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association in New York, New York; (b) the dispute shall be governed by New York law; and (c) the maximum amount of recovery to which I will be entitled under any and all circumstances will be cost of my accommodation at Yuquiyú. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Cancellations, postponements & refunds
Full payment by credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. Although there are no refunds, you may reschedule, subject to availability, if you cancel your reservation in writing at least two weeks in advance.
Trade names
Inka’s Empire Corporation, a New York corporation, is registered with the State of New York to do business as Arcana Mundi Expeditions. Yuquiyú is managed by Arcana Mundi Expeditions.
Guest’s responsibility
Guests have the responsibility to be sure that Yuquiyú is appropriate to their abilities and interests. An explanation as to why Yuquiyú may not be suitable for some people appears on our Reservations page in the paragraph titled We are not for everyone. Guests also have the responsibility of not damaging the property, and hereby agree that the cost of correcting any damages as solely determined by the retreat may be charged to the same credit card used for payment of the reservation.
Knowing & voluntary execution
I approve the nights of accommodation noted above and price of $____________ for two guests, which includes the 7% Puerto Rico Room Occupancy Tax. I have carefully read and fully understand the contents and legal ramifications of this agreement. I understand this is a legally binding and enforceable contract and sign it of my own free will.
